Description

This is a rare piece that dates from the 1960’s. It holds two decks, and spins when twisting the semicircular handle in the middle. It is a transparente burnt orange, almost amber color. This piece is in very good condition. The only issue is a small crack on one ear that does not go all the way through, so it has not broken off (see the last two pictures). On the bottom is a tape with the name Ramona on it. I chose to leave it on because it contributes to the history of the piece. Ramona, who was born in 1909, was part of a group of ladies who played Gin Rummy regularity in the city of Punta Arenas, Chile, right at the bottom of the world. I know all this, because Ramona was my mother. Of course, the buyer of this piece can easily remove the tape if desired. I ship free within the USA on the same day as receiving payment, using recycled packaging materials whenever possible.
