Description

Fantastic 4-piece place setting of Mikasa Mediterrania china. One piece - cup - is a mustard yellow flecked pattern (Empire Gold 4994). Three pieces - smaller plate, larger plate and saucer - are a cheerful sunflower pattern (Caracas 4008-YE). It is my understanding that these two patterns were designed to match together, as you can see in this set. There are a few small manufacturing flaws throughout this set. Some of the larger plates have a small rough patch at the edge. All of the smaller plates have one or two small blemishes at the back. This is common to all plates (that I've seen) in this series. The sunflower pattern on the smaller plates is a tiny bit blurrier than it is on the saucers and larger plates. See photos. Measurements: Larger plate diameter: 10.75" Smaller plate diameter: 7.75" Cup diameter: 3.5" Cup height: 2.5" All of the pieces are nearly identical. I've selected photos that show the worst examples of the manufacturing flaws and damage. I have (at time of listing) two settings like this, plus quite a few 5-piece sets and a couple of flawed pieces.
