Double Deck Playing Cards Metal Box / Holder Up for auction is a vintage metal box or holder, meant to hold a double deck of playing cards. The heavy metal box is ornately decorated on all four sides and top with a raised relief design of various vases and baskets of flowers. It measures just over 4 inches tall, while the base flares out to 3.5 by 1.125 inches at the very bottom. Stamped into the bottom of the base is what I believe to be: "Made in Japan". Please note that this auction is just for the box, as no cards are included. The metal box is in very good vintage condition, with minimal soiling and wear, and no signs of rust. However, there is a scrape along the very top edge of one of the sides of the cover, and a split at the top seam of one corner of the inside of the bottom section.
