Description

This set of playing cards is a great addition to any collection. The box is made of either Bakelite or plastic and measures 4 3/8" by 3" by 1 1/2" and holds two decks of cards. The box is black with white swirls. Printed on the bottom of the box is Whitman Publishing Co. Made in U.S.A. Racine, Wisconsin Pat. No. 2-508-951. The deck of Canasta cards is unused sealed in original cellophane. The top of the card says CANASTA and has a cornucopia above and below the CANASTA. The edges of the cards are gold colored. The cards measure 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" by 5/8". The set appears to be from possibly the 40's or 50's. Please see pictures. We are a smoke free home.
