Double Deck Playing Cards Faux Leather Holder / Case Up for auction is a vintage faux leather holder or carrying case, meant to hold a double deck of playing cards. One side of the black folding case has two straps which secure the two decks of cards in place, while the other side has a slot cut into it, where a pad of paper to keep score can be placed. Included is the original gold tone mechanical lead pencil, which still has lead in it. When the case is folded shut, the pencil is slid through three loops or rings, so that the case remains securely closed. When folded shut, the piece measures approximately 4 by 5.25 inches in size, and is approximately 0.75 inches deep. The case is meant to hold cards that measure 2.25 by 3.5 inches in size (which is smaller than a standard size deck of cards). Please note that the cards in the final photograph are for demonstration purposes only, as this auction is just for the carrying case, and no cards are included. The Card Holder is in great vintage condition, with minimal soiling and wear, no rips or tears to the plastic, and no damage that I can detect.
